Ever since I started college I missed that structure and discipline that sports gave me. I was a softball player for about 10 years before I decided to hang up my cleats and focus on school. In 2012, my uncle brought me to PFC CrossFit and I signed up for a month. I have been addicted to it ever since. My new lifestyle has pushed me to mental and physical limits that never seemed within my reach. I’m lighter, quicker, stronger, and most importantly happier than I have ever been. Crossfit has given me more energy and allowed me to have that competitive and fun physical lifestyle that I had been missing. Overall, I believe CrossFit has improved my quality, and probably quantity, of life and has truly kept me balanced. The coaches and members at PFC are what make this gym unique and it has been an amazing experience. I graduated from UNLV in 2012 with a BS in biology and I am applying to Physician Assistants School. When I’m not coaching, I work at a healthcare rehab facility as a Nursing Assistant.
In addition to WOD Classes, I also coach PFC Pink. PFC Pink is a Women’s Specific Post WOD class that focusses on movements to transform body composition.
